Policy for waste management in RNM

Establishing a modern waste management system is a complex task, and although now is the time for integrated waste management, current measures are tailored to the needs of RNM, focusing on the early stages of development.

Waste collection points

Electrical and electronic waste and waste batteries have the character of hazardous waste and according to the waste management law must not be mixed with other types of waste.

1. Skopje region

It covers the municipalities: Aerodrom, Butel, Gazi Baba, Gjorche Petrov, Karposh, Kisela Voda, Saraj, Chair, Centar, Shuto Orizari, Sopishte, Studenichani, Zelenikovo, Petrovec, Arachinovo, Ilinden and Chucher-Sandevo

2. Eastern region

It covers the municipalities: Shtip, Karbinci, Zrnovci, Ceshinovo-Obleshevo, Probishtip, Kochani, Makedonska Kamenica, Delchevo, Pehchevo, Vinica and Berovo.

3. Southeast region

It covers the municipalities: Gevgelija, Bogdanci, Valandovo, Dojran, Novo Selo, Bosilovo, Vasilevo, Konche, Radovish and Strumica

4. Northeast region

It covers the municipalities: Lipkovo, Kumanovo, Staro Nagoricane, Rankovce, Kratovo and Kriva Palanka.

5. Pelagonian region

It covers the municipalities: Resen, Bitola, Novaci, Mogila, Demir Hisar, Krivogashtani, Prilep, Dolneni and Krushevo

6. Vardar region

It covers the municipalities: Sveti Nikole, Veles, Lozovo, Čaška, Gradsko, Rosoman, Negotino, Demir Kapija and Kavadarci.

7. Southwest Region

It covers the municipalities: Ohrid, Debarca, Struga, Vevcani, Drugovo, Center Župa, Kichevo, Oslomej, Zajas, Makedonski Brod, Vraneshtica, Debar and Plasnica

8. Pologsk region

It covers the municipalities: Mavrovo and Rostusha, Gostivar, Brvenica, Vrapcishte, Želino, Bogovinje, Tetovo, Tearce and Jegunovce.
