“End user” is a consumer who, due to end use or use of another product, uses equipment and thus, after their wear and tear, creates waste equipment. The owner or trader who imported equipment for his own needs without an intermediary will be considered as the end user.
The end user is obliged to collect, store and hand over the household waste equipment to the merchant or the authorized collector, as a separately collected fraction of municipal waste in a collection center or in a collection point whose work is provided by the manufacturer.
If the waste equipment contains substances and materials that need to be separated before disassembling the waste equipment, the end user is obliged to ensure that the waste equipment is in such a condition that the separation of those substances and materials can be carried out in accordance with the special regulations regulates the handling of those substances and materials.
If household waste equipment is so damaged that, due to the dangerous substances contained in it, endangers the environment and human health, or is without important components, or is contaminated with other types of waste, the end user is obliged to hand it over to a collection center , as a separated fraction of municipal waste.
